Candice Cox, LCSW

Since 2008, I have provided counseling and consulting services to children and families in both office and in home settings. Some issues I work with include: Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, ODD, Poor Communication, Inappropriate Behaviors, Unhealthy Relationships, Parenting issues, Poor Choices, Self Esteem, and Blended/ Step parent and Adoptive families.

I firmly believe in helping people, especially children and families, utilize and enhance their personal and relationship strengths, not simply focusing on problems as illnesses to be managed. Conflicts, communication problems, and parenting struggles can feel overwhelming and without help can lead to serious mental health issues. Life happens but it doesn't have to stop.

For these reasons, I love to be a catalyst in the lives of others to propel them forward. Read more about Candice's work at https://www.ccoxlcsw.com/

One of the reasons I’m thankful Integrate Trauma Informed Network and this course exists is because, when it comes to human safety, decision making and human-centered communication - there is no topic practice or aspect of life exempt from the possibility of harm. To understand this, as providers and practitioners (of any human service or business) is essential.
